Environmental noise
The constant noise from roads, railways, airports and industry, as shown by the authorities on noise maps.
The maps show the average level over day and night in decibels. Just a few decibels more are clearly audible and push down rent and resale value. At a weekend viewing the traffic often goes unnoticed, but the map still shows it.

Common questions about it
Why can't I hear any noise at the viewing?
Viewings are often at weekends or outside rush hour. The noise map shows the average over the whole year.
