Krefeld court: decorative repairs clause in tenancy is valid

The Krefeld regional court held valid a clause requiring tenants to paint interior doors and the windows and exterior doors from inside. The local court had earlier awarded the landlords 5000 euros for painting work. Two Hamburg courts had struck down identically worded clauses as unclear.
